On February 10th, mobilized by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the third national TCM team consisting of 209 TCM experts and nursing staff from five provinces and cities including Tianjin, Jiangsu, Henan, Hunan, and Shaanxi, went to the frontline of the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 in Wuhan, Hubei Province to provide TCM medical assistance.

The third national TCM medical team consists of 60 persons from Tianjin, 44 from Jiangsu Province, 33 from Henan Province, 40 from Hunan Province and 32 from Shaanxi Province. Among them, 54 are TCM doctors, 152 are nurses and 3 are administrative staff. They mainly come from respiratory, infection, emergency, imaging departments and ICU. On the morning of February 10th, they departed from Tianjin, Nanjing, Zhengzhou, Changsha and Xi'an respectively, took the train to Wuhan and would focus on participating in the treatment of cases in cabin hospital.
