Methods: Studying on acupoint sensitization from the ancient physicians in the medical literature, clinical application and related medical records, summarize the acupoint sensitization phenomena and rules. Results: Acupoint sensitization phenomenon in ancient medical literatures was based on morphological and sensory changes; Acupoint sensitization rules：The acupoint sensitization of acupoint sensitization was related to the origin and location of acupoints; The acupoint sensitization showed special relationship between the acupoints and the corresponding organs and meridians; Acupoint sensitization reflect the character of the evil; Acupoint sensitization with different types of disease state differences; Acupoint sensitization varies with different stages of the disease; Acupoint sensitization has dynamic characteristics of time and space. Conclusion: The study of acupoint sensitization phenomenon and regularity in ancient literature supplements and perfects the theoretical knowledge system of acupoint sensitization.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Key words: Acupuncture and moxibustion, acupoint sensitization, ancient literature, sensitization phenomena and laws</p><p><br/></p>
