<p style="text-align: center;">Liao Chenxi, Dai Jingyang, Zhou Wenqing, Xiong Yan, Bai Yu</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Abstract:&nbsp;</strong> Primary dysmenorrhea is common&nbsp; during clinical practice.&nbsp; Moxibustion as one of therapeutic method for primary dysmenorrhea has been proved to be effective. During clinical practice, the selection of acupoints are diversified for the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea&nbsp; by moxibustion. However, there are still some&nbsp; urgent&nbsp; problems&nbsp; need&nbsp; to&nbsp; be&nbsp; considered&nbsp; such&nbsp; as&nbsp; selection&nbsp; of&nbsp; acupoints,&nbsp; standard&nbsp; of&nbsp; diagnosis&nbsp; and treatment,&nbsp; mechanism&nbsp; of&nbsp; moxibustion.&nbsp; The&nbsp; present&nbsp; paper&nbsp; summarized&nbsp; single&nbsp; use&nbsp; of&nbsp; acupoint&nbsp; such&nbsp; as Guanyuan&nbsp; (CV4),&nbsp; Lieque(L7)&nbsp; and&nbsp; combination&nbsp; of&nbsp; multi-acupoints&nbsp; by&nbsp; searching&nbsp; the&nbsp; literature&nbsp; about treatment of primary dysmenorrhea by moxibustion in recent years in order to provide reference for the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea by moxibustion.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key words</strong>:&nbsp; Acupuncture and Moxibustion, Primary Dysmenorrhea, Acupoint Selection</p>
