The Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of TCM, Jinan, 250014, China,)</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Abstract</strong>: <strong>Objective:</strong> To investigate the mechanism of drug-separated moxibustion at the navel on vascular endothelial&nbsp; growth&nbsp; factor(VEGF)and&nbsp; anti-Mullerian&nbsp; hormone(AMH)&nbsp; in&nbsp; rats&nbsp; with&nbsp; premature&nbsp; ovarian failure(POF) . Methods：50 female Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal group, model group,the group of herb-partion moxibustion at navel and Western medicine group. The rat model of premature ovarian failure were used by intraperitoneal injection of cyclophosphamide. The rats of herb-partion moxibustion at navel group were treated with self-made herb ointment. The rats in the western medicine group were givenintragastric dose of estradiol valerate. After 2 weeks of treatment, the levels of E2, LH and FSH were detected by&nbsp; using&nbsp; the&nbsp; radioimmunoassay&nbsp; method.&nbsp; ELISA&nbsp; was&nbsp; used&nbsp; to&nbsp; detect&nbsp; the&nbsp; level&nbsp; of&nbsp; VEGF&nbsp; and&nbsp; AMH. <strong>Results</strong>:Compared with the normal group, the level of&nbsp; E2 decreased in model group (P&lt;0.05). The level of E2 in the group of herb-partion moxibustion at navel and Western medicine group were higher than that in the model group (P&lt;0.05). Compared with the normal group, the level of VEGF and AMH significantly decreased&nbsp; in&nbsp; the&nbsp; model&nbsp; group&nbsp; (P&lt;0.05).&nbsp; The&nbsp; level&nbsp; of&nbsp; VEGF&nbsp; and&nbsp; AMH&nbsp; in&nbsp; the&nbsp; group&nbsp; of&nbsp; herb-partion moxibustion at navel and Western medicine group were increased than those in the model group (P&lt;0.05).&nbsp;<strong>Conclusion:</strong> The&nbsp; &nbsp;herb-partion&nbsp; moxibustion&nbsp; at&nbsp; navel&nbsp; can&nbsp; significantly&nbsp; promote&nbsp; the&nbsp; follicle&nbsp; number&nbsp; and&nbsp;</p><p>ovarian reserve of POF rats may be related to the regulation of E2, VEGF and AMH.</p><p><strong>Key&nbsp; words</strong>:&nbsp; Herb-partition&nbsp; moxibustion&nbsp; at&nbsp; navel;&nbsp; Premature&nbsp; ovarian&nbsp; failure;&nbsp; Sex&nbsp; hormones;&nbsp; Vascular endothelial growth factor; Anti Mullerian hormone</p><p><br/></p>
