<p style="text-align: center;">KONG Ying, ZHOU Wei</p><p style="text-align: center;">（1 The Second Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,&nbsp;<span style="text-align: center;">Heilongjiang Harbin 150001；2 The First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Heilongjiang Harbin 150040）</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Abstract</strong>:&nbsp;<strong> Objective</strong>:&nbsp; By&nbsp; observing&nbsp; the&nbsp; BaiHui-QuBin&nbsp; scalp-acupuncture&nbsp; on&nbsp; acute&nbsp; cerebral hemorrhage in the rat model of brain tissue IL-6 protein expression, to study the acupuncture on the cerebral hemorrhage secondary brain injury after the neuro protective mechanisms in order to guide clinical practice.&nbsp; Methods:&nbsp; 1.Totally 60 male wistar rats were randomly allocated into fourgroup: blank group(n=6),intracerebral hemorrhage controlgroup(n=18),acupuncture group(n=18),and&nbsp; western&nbsp; medicine&nbsp; (pisacetam)&nbsp; group(n=18).&nbsp; 2.The&nbsp; rat&nbsp; models&nbsp; of&nbsp; acute intracerebral hemorrhage&nbsp; were&nbsp; made. 3.The&nbsp; acupuncture&nbsp; point:&nbsp; BaiHui&nbsp; point&nbsp; to&nbsp; QuBin&nbsp; point, which can penetrate three regions of the cupula and forehead and temple.4.The Berderson neural deficit&nbsp; scores&nbsp; were&nbsp; tested&nbsp; at&nbsp; three&nbsp; time&nbsp; points(6h,2d,7d&nbsp; after&nbsp; hemorrhage&nbsp; model establishment)before the r-at models were killed, then the brains were removed and index were detected. 5.The average gray scale of Interleukin-6 protein expressio-n by immunohistoc-hemical method were checked,the morphologic cha-nge on light microscope was observed. 6. Statistical treatment was made.&nbsp; Results:&nbsp; 1.The results of the neurologic deficit score of the acupunct-ure group&nbsp; is&nbsp; better&nbsp; than&nbsp; intracerebral&nbsp; hemorrhage&nbsp; group&nbsp; and&nbsp; western&nbsp; medicine&nbsp; group&nbsp; at&nbsp; 2&nbsp; days. Acupuncture&nbsp; group&nbsp; and&nbsp; western&nbsp; medicine&nbsp; group&nbsp; were&nbsp; better&nbsp; than&nbsp; those&nbsp; in&nbsp; intracerebral hemorrhage&nbsp; group&nbsp; at&nbsp; 7&nbsp; days.&nbsp; 2.The&nbsp; results&nbsp; of&nbsp; masculine&nbsp; cell&nbsp; in&nbsp; the&nbsp; average&nbsp; gray&nbsp; scale&nbsp; of Interleukin-6&nbsp; in&nbsp; untreated&nbsp; control&nbsp; group&nbsp; is&nbsp; different&nbsp; from&nbsp; intracerebra-l&nbsp; hemorrhage&nbsp; gro-up (ICH).In 2 days,the average gray scale of Interleukin-6 in acupu-ncture group is lower than those in intracerebral hemorrhage group.T -here was also difference between acupuncture group and western&nbsp; medi-cine&nbsp; group.&nbsp; Acupuncture&nbsp; group&nbsp; and&nbsp; western&nbsp; medicine&nbsp; group&nbsp; were&nbsp; low-er&nbsp; than those in intracerebral hemorrhage group,and there was differe-nce between acupuncture group and&nbsp; western medicine group&nbsp; in&nbsp; 7 days.3.The results of the brain pathological change in acupuncture group and western medicine group is different from those in intracerebral hemorrhage group. Conclusion:1.BaiHui-QuBin acupuncture can obviously raise the B-erderson neural deficit scores,&nbsp; and&nbsp; have&nbsp; the&nbsp; benefit&nbsp; of&nbsp; improvement&nbsp; of&nbsp; extremity&nbsp; function&nbsp; after&nbsp; intracerebral hemorrhage.2.&nbsp; Study&nbsp; showed&nbsp; that&nbsp; acute&nbsp; phase&nbsp; of&nbsp; cerebral&nbsp; hemorrhage,&nbsp; BaiHui-QuBin&nbsp; scalpacupuncture therapy can be reduced IL-6 protein expression, reduce the inflammatory response after cerebral hemorrhage caused by the extent of secondary brain injury, ischemic brain tissue in order to improve status and the protection of hypoxic injury in neurons.</p><p><strong>Key words</strong>: Acute intracerebral hemorrhage, Acupuncture, BaiHui-QuBin, Interleukin-6</p><p><br/></p>
