Progress of Research on the Relationship between NLRP3

<p style="text-align: justify;">WU Lijie, ZHANG Jji1, ZHANG Dan,&nbsp; Y ANG Yanting, YANG Ling, ZHI Fangyuan, WU Lingxiang, XIE Chen, MA Xiaopeng&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: center;">(1 Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, shanghai 201203; 2 Shanghai Institute of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, shanghai 200030)</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Abstract</strong>:&nbsp; Inflammatory bowel disease is a group of chronic non-specific intestinal inflammatory diseases, including Crohn&#39;s disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC).&nbsp; Inflammasome,&nbsp; as a kind of macromolecular compound protein,plays an important role in the development of inflammation and the&nbsp; innate&nbsp; immunity&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; body.&nbsp; NLRP3&nbsp; plays&nbsp; a&nbsp; bidirectional&nbsp; role&nbsp; in&nbsp; the&nbsp; development&nbsp; of inflammatory&nbsp; bowel&nbsp; disease&nbsp; and&nbsp; in&nbsp; maintaining&nbsp; intestinal&nbsp; homeostasis.This&nbsp; paper&nbsp; reviews&nbsp; the progress of NLRP3 inflammatory mediators in IBD and the possible mechanism of acupuncture and moxibustion, and provides a new idea for the clinical and mechanism research of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of inflammatory bowel disease.</p><p><strong>Key words</strong>:&nbsp; Acupuncture and Moxibustion, NLRP3 Inflammasome;&nbsp; Inflammatory Bowel Disease</p><p><br/></p>
